BMW X6 M60i xDrive Launched in India at ₹1.77 Crore: 530 hp V8, 0-100 km/h in 4.3 Seconds

BMW India has officially launched the new BMW X6 M60i xDrive in India, expanding its portfolio of high-performance luxury vehicles. Priced at ₹1,77,90,000 (ex-showroom), the latest Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) is now available for booking and delivery through BMW dealerships across the country.

Powered by a newly developed 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine, the new X6 M60i xDrive produces 530 hp and 750 Nm of peak torque, enabling it to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The engine is paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission and BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive system, while a 48V mild-hybrid system enhances both performance and efficiency.

Speaking on the launch, Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India, said the X6 M60i has been designed for customers seeking exclusivity, dynamic performance and luxury in a single package. “The new BMW X6 M60i xDrive is an absolute powerhouse engineered to command the road with an unmistakable, muscular stance. Positioned at the pinnacle of expressive luxury, this Sports Activity Coupé is crafted for individuals who demand a distinct lifestyle. At its heart lies the legendary V8 engine, offering raw, emotional power. The X6 M60i is not just an automobile; it is a bold manifestation of exclusivity and engineering supremacy,” he said.

Aggressive design with signature coupe styling

The updated BMW X6 M60i retains its distinctive coupe-like silhouette while introducing several design enhancements. At the front, the SUV features slimmer Adaptive LED headlights with arrow-shaped daytime running lights and M Shadowline detailing. The signature kidney grille is finished in matte black with vertical double slats and an M badge, giving the vehicle a more aggressive appearance.

Other styling highlights include gloss black M exterior mirrors, M-specific side skirts, Shadowline exterior trim, a black rear spoiler, trapezoidal quad exhaust tips and slim LED tail lamps that extend into the tailgate. The performance SUV rides on 21-inch M light-alloy wheels wrapped in run-flat tyres, while the standard M Sport Package Pro adds red brake calipers, M seat belts and a sportier exhaust system.

BMW offers the X6 M60i in six exterior colours: Aventurine Red, Manhattan Metallic, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Isle of Man Green. Customers can also choose from more than 40 BMW Individual paint finishes for greater personalization.

Premium interior with latest BMW technology

Inside, the cabin receives BMW’s latest design language centred around the Curved Display, which integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system beneath a single glass panel. The SUV runs on BMW Operating System 8.5, supporting touch and voice controls through the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. The dashboard features leather-like Sensafin surfaces, fine wood trim with metallic accents and an illuminated ambient light bar carrying the ///M logo. Buyers can further customise the cabin with optional Crafted Clarity crystal controls and BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery. Standard comfort seats come with ventilation, lumbar support, electric adjustment and memory function for the driver. BMW also offers an optional massage function with eight massage programmes. Additional premium features include a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, soft-close doors, an optional Alcantara M headliner and multi-zone automatic climate control.

Performance-focused chassis

To complement the powerful V8 engine, BMW has equipped the X6 M60i withAdaptive M Suspension, Integral Active Steering with rear-wheel steering, an M Sport differential and M Sport brakes. These technologies improve agility in urban driving while enhancing stability and handling at higher speeds. The SUV also benefits from BMW EfficientDynamics technologies, including Auto Start-Stop, Brake Energy Regeneration and selectable driving modes through Driving Experience Control.

Connected features and safety

The new X6 M60i comes equipped with BMW ConnectedDrive technology, offering Digital Key Plus, Real-Time Traffic Information, Remote Services, Navigation, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as regular Remote Software Updates. Through the My BMW App, owners can remotely monitor vehicle status, lock or unlock the SUV and access Learning Navigation functions.

Safety equipment includes six airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, tyre pressure monitoring and crash sensors. Driver assistance systems include Parking Assistant Professional, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and the Reversing Assistant, which can automatically retrace the last 200 metres by controlling the steering.

BMW SMART Finance

BMW India is also offering attractive ownership plans through BMW SMART Finance. Customers can purchase the X6 M60i with an assured buyback value of 60 per cent after three years or 10,000 km, while financing options are also available for BMW Service Inclusive, Secure Advance and Extended Warranty packages.
